VAM Lux funds receive S&P ratings

VAM Funds' VAM US Micro Cap Growth fund has been awarded an AA rating from Standard and Poor's (S&P).

The VAM US Small Cap Growth fund has also received an A rating, both with effect from October. The VAM Funds Lux range, which includes both funds, is managed by Driehaus Capital Management. The firm specialises in US and international equity investing using an aggressive growth style with the objective of capital appreciation. Michael Hunt, director of VAM Funds, said the two funds are relatively young by industry standards and the history of the portfolio manager is an important component in S&P's rating.
