Fairbairn Private Bank has appointed David Stearn as head of business development following the retirement of Barry Besnard.
He has worked at the bank for almost a decade following a 14 year career with RBS in the UK and Jersey. As head of business development, Stearn will be responsible for the private banking teams in Jersey, the Isle of Man, London and South Africa, focusing on client relationships as well as meeting clients' banking and investment requirements. The bank is a member of the Old Mutual Group.
