Pimco unveils global multi-asset fund

Pimco has launched a Dublin-domiciled Global Multi-Asset fund as part of its Global Investor Series (GIS).

The UCITS III vehicle launched on 15 April, invests in a range of assets classes including global bonds and equities plus funds, as well as indirect exposure to property and commodities. A trio of managers will use proprietary alpha strategies to exploit temporary mis-pricings and arbitrage chances. Pimco believes the strategy offers clients a comprehensive asset allocation solution which addresses the growing challenges to traditional asset allocation models, posed the turbulent global economy.
