Nicola Horlick's Bramdean Alternatives is opposing plans proposed by one of its largest investors to wind up the investment fund.
British Virgin Islands-registered investment company Elsina, controlled by UK property investor Vincent Tchenguiz's Consensus Business Group, has declared its intention to remove five Bramdean directors and replace them with three of its own choices, according to reports. Controlling 29% of Bramdean's shares, Elsina says the fund should consider closing. Bramdean will hold a meeting on 18 June to vote on the proposal, according to a statement.
