Resonant Music General Partners has hired Guernsey-based RBC Corporate Employee & Executive Services (RBC cees) as administrator to Resonant Music 1 LP, a Cayman Island-registered limited partnership.
The fund will acquire publishing rights to original scores featured in independently produced feature films and TV series, to create a music publishing catalogue aiming to generate a long-term royalty revenue stream plus the potential for capital appreciation in the value of the catalogue. It has been created by London-based alternatives investment manager Bramdean Asset Management, and Resonant Music General Partners, a Cayman-based investment manager.
