Gartmore hires manager for offshore vehicle

Davies joined on 23 February and reports to Nigel Kennett, lead manager of the AlphaGen EtaCas fund. His role involves generating investment ideas for the AlphaGen EtaCas portfolio, with a particular focus on global consumer stocks, as well as providing fund management support. Prior to his appointment at Gartmore, Davies has been director of research at Exista UK. He also spent ten years at JP Morgan Securities as the head of the European beverages research team.
