First State to launch euro share classes

First State Investments has announced it will offer a euro share class on certain of its UK-based Oeic funds from 1 May.

Initially the euro class will only be available to retail investors, although an institutional euro class is also planned. The funds that will offer the new euro class are the First State Global Property Securities, Asia Pacific Leaders, Asia Pacific Sustainability, Asian Property Securities, Global Emerging Markets Leaders (not until 1 August), Global Growth, Global Listed Infrastructure, Global Resources, Greater China Growth and Indian Subcontinent funds.
