Investec Trust's Robert Clifford has stepped down as chief executive of the business to pursue other professional and personal interests. He worked as a solicitor for Investec from 2000 when his previous firm, Theodores, was acquired by the company. International law firm Withers will open an office in the British Virgin Islands focusing on international litigation and corporate restructuring.
