The Guernsey Financial Services Commission has announced Nik van Leuven will replace Peter Neville as director general of the commission when he retires on 1 June this year. Van Leuven is currently majesty's procureur (attorney general). Maitland has opened an office in Malta which it identifies as an interesting jurisdiction for the structuring of investments into the European Union and the establishment and administration of companies.
