Jersey Finance unveils trusts and private wealth conference

Finance and legal professionals from Jersey and London will debate issues affecting the wealth management industry at a conference hosted by Jersey Finance next month.

Speakers and panellists will examine the commercial and regulatory developments that impact on the trust and private wealth sector, as well as including the role of offshore jurisdictions in future financial planning strategies. Guest panellists include: Jacob Rigg, head of policy at the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Clare Maurice, partner at Maurice Turner Garner. They will be joined by Geoff Cook, chief executive of Jersey Finance, John Harris, director general of the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) and Colin Powell, adviser to the States of Jersey. ...
