Castlestone Management has appointed Peter Andersson as business development manager for the Nordic region.
The move comes as the New York-based alternative investment specialist expands its European presence. Andersson has previously worked at Credit Suisse, Standard & Poor’s and GP Bullhound, and will work with regional financial advisers to retail investors and with institutional investors. “Investors in the Nordic region are sophisticated and understand the benefits of modern portfolio theory,” said Castlestone Management’s founder and joint chief executive Angus Murray, explaining the expansion. “That’s why they have been adding commodities to their portfolios.
