Fund groups team up for Joint Investment Forum

Four fund management companies have joined forces for a series of intermediary forums to discuss the outlook for investment markets in 2008.

The Joint Investment Forums will run from 7-18 January 2008 at a variety of locations around the UK, including London, Manchester, Glasgow, Exeter and Southampton. Chris Burvill, manager of the Gartmore Cautious Managed fund will be focusing on the opportunities for cautious investors. M&G’s David Jane will discuss multi-asset investing, Newton Global Higher Income manager James Harries will set out why income-hungry investors should look beyond the UK to meet their needs, and Richard Buxton, manager of the Schroder UK Alpha Plus fund, will look at the outlook for UK equities.
