F&C Asset Management plans to open an office in Geneva and has recruited Christian Zeitler to head up the operation.
Zeitler’s responsibilities will include sales, marketing and business development activities for both Switzerland and Austria. He will report to Patrick Jones, head of institutional business. He joins F&C from Morgan Stanley where he was vice president for German, Austrian and Swiss institutional clients. Main duties included business development, client servicing and consultant relationship management. He has also worked for Insight/Rothschild Asset Management and Commerzbank Investment Management in institutional business development roles.
