Skandia to sell fund in Sweden; Fortis in Japan

Skandia Investment Group has launched its Global Emerging Markets Equity Multimanager fund into the Swedish market.

Launched in the UK in August 2007, the fund’s portfolio is split between five funds and one mandate. The Lazard Emerging Markets fund, managed by James Donald, currently accounts for 19% of the portfolio, as does Robert Davy’s Schroder Global Emerging Markets fund. The boutique Hamon Asian Market Leaders fund, managed by Hugh Simon, has a 17.8% weighting. A further 15.5% of the portfolio is in the Gartmore Latin America fund, managed by Chris Palmer, while 10.9% is held in Stuart Richards’ Resolution International Emerging Europe fund.
