RBC poaches Citi non-res Indian team

RBC Wealth Management has hired Citibank International's team managing non-resident Indian clients as part of its plans to extend its coverage in this area in Europe and Asia.

The wealth management arm of the Royal Bank of Canada has appointed Sumit Sibal, Amit Kachawaha, Amit Kotha and Vikram Anand, who will be based at RBC's London office. They will be responsible for offering investment advice, credit, trust, discretionary, tax and banking solutions to their non-resident Indian clients. Mark Evans, head of private banking, British Isles at RBC Wealth Management, said the team has 'strong credentials and an extensive book of clients'.
