iShares offers diversified exposure to Gulf region

iShares, the ETF arm of Barclays Global Investors, has released the first product offering exposure to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region in one single fund. The iShares MSCI GCC Countries ex-Saudi Arabia provides exposure to equity markets in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman by capturing performance by companies across a range of sectors, such as the financial, real estate, mobile telecommunications, industrial and material sectors.
