Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) has revealed that the traded value and volume of its listed ETFs have set new monthly records for both April and May. The total trading value of SGX-listed ETFs amounted to S$836.2m in May, surpassing the previous record of S$533.2m traded in April by 57%. In comparison with the same period last year, the total trading value from January - May 2009 rose by 62% to S$1.95bn. In terms of trading volume, the total amounted to 1.22 billion shares in May 2009, exceeding the previous record of 85.7 million shares traded in April by 42%. The ...
