Barclays Global Investors (BGI) has poached Nizam Hamid and Yvonne Sandford from Deutsche Bank’s exchange traded funds-focused team, ETFM has learned. Previously, Hamid was a director in the portfolio trading and index strategy team at Deutsche Bank and has more than 20 years experience as an analyst in the investment industry. Hamid and Sandford were responsible for producing Deutsche Bank’s Portfolio & Index Strategy, part of its Global Markets Research.
