Andrew Green and Rachel Durkin formerly of SG Asset Management have been recruited to run a UK equity portfolio at Bramdean. The UK fund will hold 30 stocks and be a focused fund. It can invest in all caps, but will concentrate on FTSE 350 companies. Nicola Horlick, chief executive at Bramdean, who ran the SG UK Income fund from early 1999, said: "It is unlikely to be holding most of the mega caps. This gives the big divergence from the index.
