ABN Amro is planning to launch a fund of hedge funds (FoHF) every quarter until next May. It also has plans to launch several single strategy funds, including currency, macro, equity long/short and equity market-neutral. The hedge funds team will also double in size, from 16 to 32, to support the new launches. The group has four FoHFs at the moment, all based around the $2.2bn multi-strategy flagship fund.
