Tilney Investment Management is to start marketing the British Real Estate Fund from August as a more aggressive version of the £370m Glanmore Property Fund. The British Real Estate Fund is the new name for the £22m Acre Property Fund, which had only been marketed internally for the last three years since its launch in June 2001. The Acre fund returned 8.36% in the 12 months to end of March, compared with 8.26% for the Glanmore fund, net of charges.
