Atlantis Investment Management is set to launch a small/mid-cap Atlantis China fund which will start as a closed-ended fund, converting to an open-ended vehicle after 18 months. Atlantis intends to close the fund to initial investment on 2 July and list the fund on the Irish Stock Exchange, subject to approval from the Central Bank of Ireland. It will use the Atlantis style bottom-up, long-only stock-picking approach based on extensive research. Although the fund will invest in smaller-sized companies, it will have a self-imposed 10% cap on the amount it can invest in pre-IPO firms....
