Australian financial services group Challenger International is to buy CSFB Australia Equities Private. The entire business has been bought and will be renamed Challenger First Pacific. Former CSFB Australia Equities Private managing director Bryan Madden will remain as managing director of Challenger First Pacific. Challenger First Pacific retains all original CSFB Australia Equities Private staff.
