Gartmore Investment Management has announced that head of multi-manager and long-standing II awards judge Bambos Hambi is to leave the team as part of an internal restructure. The team will now be headed by Tony Lanning, who joined Gartmore as deputy head of multi-manager in November 2007 following the departure of Marcus Brookes, who is now at Cazenove. Gartmore said that Hambi, who has headed the multi-manager team at Gartmore since joining in 2003, is considering other options within the company.
