First State Investments is expanding its global fixed interest team based in the UK and searching for a new head of global fixed interest as part of its plans to relaunch the company formerly known as Colonial First State. Part of the reason for extending the team is to take on the management of £500m in international fixed interest money on behalf of its sister companies in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
