Head of US equities at Threadneedle Cormac Weldon will be off work for a few months following a cycling accident. American Growth manager Zanny Perring will take on the £385m American Select Growth fund until Weldon recovers, while head of global equities Dominic Rossi and Perring will oversee the US desk. Threadneedle could not give an exact date for Weldon's return, expecting him to be off for at least a couple of months.
