For once, it is the technology and telecommunication stocks which are leading the FTSE rise this morning, as investor sentiment looks a little more positive. The FTSE 100 index gained 61.7 points or 1.2% to 5148.3, led by Sage Group, the UK's largest maker of accounting software, Vodafone and ARM Holdings, after the Nasdaq Composite Index managed to close 2.5% up yesterday. Sage gained 9p or 4.3% to 220p, ARM rose 9p to 352p and Vodafone gained 2.5% to 164.75p, suggesting that analysts and marketmakers are now much more confident about the business potential at least for the larger co...
