Simon Hallett joins Barings

Simon Hallett, previously with IAI International, has joined Baring Asset Management as senior European investment manager in the European equity team, leading research into technology companies. Also at Barings, Sylvia Solomon will re-assume responsibility for the Baring German Growth Trust, which she has been involved with since 1998. She has also assumed co-management responsibility for the Baring Europe Select Trust with Maria Polycarpou.
