Citigroup has moved to tighten relationships with its most valuable blue chip clients by charging two of its most senior bankers with the job of monitoring client relationships. Hans Morris and Panfilo Tarantelli are to jointly head Citigroup's new client management effort. Morris has been chief operating officer for investment banking and is a former head of the financial services investment banking group. Tarantelli was head of the European investment bank.
