Former CSAM North America manager prepares to re-emerge in the UK retail market with familiar investment style

When James Abate left Credit Suisse Asset Management, he was one of the most highly rated fund managers in UK retail US equity investing. The Credit Suisse Transatlantic fund was rated AAA by Standard & Poor's. It was top of the performance charts and had grown from around £20m in 1995 to around £500m when Abate left in 2000.
