The Financial Times has launched an online news and interactive data service for European private investors. FTMarketwatch.com's chairman and CEO, Larry Kramer, said "We aim to capture the same market in Europe with the Financial Times because individual investors are desperate for real-time information." The www.marketwatch.com website is split into three main sectors, with the latest news on equities, funds and bonds and including commentary in a similar vein to that of the FT.com website.
