Lazard Asset Management has named Alan Clifford as the manager of its UK Smaller Companies' fund. Clifford will join Lazards from Legal & General where he is manager of the Life UK Active Smaller Companies' Fund. Clifford is a replacement for Richard Smith who left to join Invesco Perpetual earlier this year.
