UK small and medium-sized companies are on their cheapest absolute ratings for more than a decade, according to Standard Life Investments fund manager Mark Niznik. He added that, after trading, at par with FTSE 100 stocks over the past 25 years, smaller companies currently stand on a 25% discount rating to large caps, one of the biggest gaps seen over this period.
