By James Thorneley Exeter Capital Growth unit trust has increased the number of stocks in its portfolio from around 40 to 50 over the past four months. The fund, managed by Nick Brind, has historically invested in capital shares of split capital investment trusts but since August this year it has started to invest in direct equities. The decision coincided with the arrival of Geoff Miller, formerly at Brewin Dolphin, to assist with increasing the group's funds' exposure to UK equities.
