Study proves low-fat diets and regular exercise can help prevent the disease
People have less chance of developing cancer if they follow a healthy diet and exercise regularly. Scientists at the University of California have discovered a low-fat diet may reduce the risk of prostate cancer. Researchers fed one group of mice a diet typical of western men with around 40% of calories coming from fat. Another group of mice were fed a low-fat diet where only 12% of the calories came from fat.
