Three in four intermediaries believe more providers will follow in the footsteps of Prudential and launch serious illness cover, according to COVER's latest web poll. Some 76.2% of the respondents think other insurers will try to copy Prudential. Only 23.8% disagreed. Following the Financial Services Authority's latest mystery shopping exercise that failed to distinguish between IFAs and tied advisers, this month's survey asks whether the regulator is treating advisers fairly.
