Eating eggs can raise diabetes risk, according to a study published in health journal Diabetes Care. The study found that eating just one egg a day raised the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by around 60% for the general public while those already suffering from the condition who were eating more than a couple of eggs a week found their diabetes worsening. Among women, the risk of developing type 2 diabetes through eating one egg a day rose to 77%.
