Provider plans to expand into pensions this year

Royal London has reported strong early customer engagement with its targeted support proposition and plans to extend the service into pensions following a successful initial launch through its stocks and shares ISA.

Speaking to Professional Adviser following the provider's latest results, CEO Barry O'Dwyer said thousands of customers had already used its targeted support journey, with high satisfaction levels reported among both those who went ahead with an ISA and those who decided it was not suitable for them. Royal London was one of the first providers to gain regulatory approval for targeted support and launched its proposition in April.
