Succession Wealth (Succession) CEO Roger Marsden talks to chief reporter Isabel Baxter about the business’ new era with a refreshed strategy, its focus on effective integration and why cultural alignment is vital when looking for a firm to acquire.

Marsden started his career in London with Deloitte in Chartered accountancy, then moved into investment banking with Barclays Capital. He then joined Aviva (formerly known as Norwich Union) and worked across several finance roles: business partnering, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and then into strategy. Eventually, Marsden became managing director of Aviva's retirement business and latterly led the retail wealth business on platforms, pensions, and direct-to-consumer for five years.
