Schroders head of UK Phil Middleton talks to senior reporter Isabel Baxter about his hopes for Schroders' UK business, growing solutions for the UK IFA market and why he is confident that the business does not need to make any major changes this year with a strong team in place.
In his first interview since he made his UK return in November 2024, succeeding former Schroders head of UK James Rainbow, Middleton shared he wants to continue growing the UK business and has a focus on solutions for the UK adviser market. "If I focus on wealth and advisers, we want to continue growing, and we are seeing good growth right now in solutions for the UK adviser market," he told PA.
