New Thames River fund of hedge funds to focus on start-up managers

Thames River Capital is launching a Guernsey-based fund of hedge funds on 21 January to be run by ex-Coronation CIO/CEO Ken Kinsey Quick. The Thames River Hedge Plus fund will have a strong focus on start-up managers, not only by eventually investing a third of its assets in new funds, but also by aiming to buy a 10% stake in the businesses of those managers.
