Fund of funds manager Forsyth Partners is set to launch its first hedge fund vehicle, to be run by Peter Toogood and Rossen Djounov. The fund will focus on equity long/short and long-only managers and will attempt to use Forsyth's qualitative research base to add value in manager selection. The typical split will be 50%-75% long equity and 25%-50% short equity. Richard Newell, director of Forsyth Partners, said: "We are looking at it from a total return view.
