Misys Interactive Trading (MIT) will be offering IFAs free access to video-streamed interviews with leading fund managers as part of its online service.
M-Link launches later this month and the facility will enable IFAs to view expert comment and analysis on a fund category of their choice beamed directly onto their desktop at home or work.
Paul Charles, editor-in-chief at MIT, said: "Until now IFAs have had to wade through mountains of fund reports and other publications to pinpoint the information they need. Through our regular online interviews and text updates, IFAs can quickly get the low-down on key fund categories straight from the horse's mouth."
Users will be able to select a particular fund category and watch a leading fund manager discuss the relevant sectors and shareholdings on video clips that are updated monthly.
At launch, 10 investment categories will be featured: UK All Companies, Europe (ex UK), Global Growth, UK Smaller Companies, North America, Japan, Far East (ex Japan), UK Equity and Bond Income, UK Gilt and Specialist (including technology).
M-Link's underlying service is a web-based facility to enable IFAs to receive information electronically. Through a direct link to the IFAs it will bring the latest news and information as well as a wide range of information on mortgage, investment, pension and protection products.
IFAs will be able to develop client records and garner single or comparison quotes from providers with relevant application forms and key feature documentation on hand.
