Perpetual is to offer up to 5% initial commission on its Isa and unit trust business from 1 February, writes Jane Wallace. The only exceptions to this are the Monthly Income Plus and Corporate Bond funds, where the maximum initial commission is 3%, and on lump sum investments in unit trust savings plans. No initial commission is paid on the Money Market fund. There is no change to current Pep transfer terms. The group is also introducing renewal commission on most underlying unit trust business as from 1 February.
