Canada Life's Dan Crook says he would try to make sure protection conversations happen as much as possible if he was head of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for a day

Each Adviser Champion is asked what they would do as boss of the regulator for one day, and Canada Life's group insurance sales director says he would take on the difficult task of making protection more central to financial conversations. Crook continues: "I'm trying not to use the word compulsory but… I would truly love a conversation with an employer to have to include some kind of content around group risk products.
