Age and experience can be overrated in the financial advice sector, says Foster Denovo's Jamie Smith, as PA's regular video series Adviser Champions returns for the first time this year.

"Some people may have been doing the same job for 20 years," the Foster Denovo partner and financial adviser continues, "but they may have just been doing the same year 20 times over, for example." On the flip side, Smith argues the best - or most underrated - quality is vital. "It's being able to communicate in a clear and simple way with clients," he says.
