Budget 2016: Osborne launches Lifetime ISA; raises ISA limit to £20,000 The year kicked off with what turned out to be George Osborne's final budget. In it, we saw the birth of the Lifetime ISA, a move Osborne saw as a new, flexible way for the next generation to save. The measure is set to take effect from April 2017. In addition, Osborne upped the limit on standard ISAs to £20,000 a year and the deadline for a pensions dashboard was set for 2019 at the latest. More...
