You can easily picture it: the teacher standing at the top of the class, shocked and dismayed at their audience's lack of attention and interest in the subject matter at hand. Instead of focusing on the topic being discussed, the students' thoughts begin to drift - ever so slowly - and unconsciously towards... lunch time... the previous evening's activities...
