  1. What has driven the fund's outperformance over five years? Chris Jaques managed the fund from January 2009 until 2011 and produced a good return by capturing the equity beta inspired rally, while maintaining relatively low volatility. In late-2011, I started to manage the fund and was relatively defensively positioned. In 2012, the portfolios were relatively balanced but with low volatility.
