While nothing compared to the pain advisers have had to go through, 2012 was also a mad scramble for fund managers to ensure ‘RDR-ready' share classes were in place by the end of December. How all of these new charging structures will affect the fund performance numbers is a hot topic. Advisers choosing funds based at least partly on performance may now have a bit of a problem as the numbers could mislead.
